Véronique De Coninck
Family law
Véronique graduated with distinction as Licentiate/Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp in 2008.
Already during her studies, she had a special interest in the law of persons and family law and family property law so that she further immersed herself in these matters, including as a trainee assistant in family law.
Family property law
Immediately after her studies, she started working as a lawyer at the Bar of Antwerp, further specialising in family law in general and family property law in particular.
She has therefore since built up particular experience and expertise in this area both in terms of proceedings before the courts and proceedings before notaries on liquidation and distribution after divorce or inheritances and estates.
Juvenile law
In 2015, Véronique also started special training in juvenile law so that she currently holds the "special training in juvenile law" certificate.
From her years of practical experience, an interest in alternative forms of conflict resolution has additionally developed so that she started the post-graduate course in mediation in the 2020-2021 academic year with the aim of being recognised as a family mediator.
The combination of empathy and accurate legal knowledge allows Véronique to respond appropriately to the client's needs and the nature of the conflict.
